Web Design: CWN-FL Website - Website designed and developed for the Clean Water Network of Florida.
Description:  This website for Clean Water Network of Florida, Inc. was designed and developed in early 2007.
Process:  This website was coded using XHTML and CSS to help with accessibility and to adhere to web standards. All of the content from the old site had to be updated to these new standards.

The layout of the main page was sketched by Linda Young, the Director of Clean Water Network of Florida. The graphic design is meant to be simple enough not to interfere with the presentation of information and to evoke water.

The water drop image was purchased from Bradley Weir at nilum.net. The Clean Water Network of Florida logo was designed by a third party. Some photographs used on the site were taken by me, others were stock photographs, and still others have been donated to Clean Water Network.

PHP programming and a MySQL database were both utilized develop more advanced functionality such as a simple blog, member sign-up and log in, and versatile e-mail forms.
Purpose:  The purpose of the Clean Water Network of Florida site is to create a web precense for the organization. They wished to take advantage of web technology to inform their audience of clean water issues. They also wished to attract more members and provide them with tools to donate and aid in Clean Water Network's mission.
Software & Tools:  Macromedia Fireworks, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Crimson Editor, phpMyAdmin, PHP, MySQL
Color Scheme:  Muted monochromatic palette of blues.
